One who has changed

Describe a family member.

Best family member has always been the strong one the one everyone goes to for almost everything, the one everyone depends on talks to lanes on is the defender the one everyone looks too for guidance and mental stability the one everyone fears but I also trust and also runs away from this family member always has a heart of gold but also has The ability to touch you in a way that will make you think about life in a whole new way and no matter what they do you still want to be around them even when you’re angry or mad at them for a while you overlook that anger because you love them so much this family member dresses beautifully hair is always done always has the right thing to say never looks vulnerable even though you know they’re human you don’t see that part of them this family member is a role model and also I’ll go get her someone to be proud of someone to look up to a best friend and can also be a frienime too but at the end of the day she is beautiful on the inside and the outside over the years she has become a beautiful person a heartfelt golden dynamic woman that I would not change the world for and I am proud that she is a part of my family. I am proud to call her family.

My children I’ve made it through so many things so many obstacles and are still standing they are all in their own world but they are still connected in one way or another they seem to get separated but still come back around they are strong resilient and such lovely people they seem hard on the outside but when you are in the world you can feel their heart and it’s such a great aura to be around them that you wouldn’t understand how a person that has such deep seated pain can still be so grounded and lovely I am so proud of them for so many different reasons as I watch them grow into more mature adults I see them as the epitome of what great human beings are supposed to be and I love them even more.

Most days I wish I was dead

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I walk around with a smile on my face but behind that smile I feel as if my life has been one big disappointment after another I wanted to raise my kids in a good environment taking them on family trips like I experienced as a child what I got was brainwashed by someone who knew I was already vulnerable needing and desiring love to take advantage of me and ruin my children’s lives forever in one way or another.

Some days I think of driving into on coming traffic or taking a bunch of sleeping pills just to stop my pain or to stop thinking that I’ve failed my children even though they are all grown now my pain is still great and I still struggle with it

My mom is the first person that comes to mind.

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

This is my mom my Beautiful success story she has the most beautiful smile

Since I was a little girl I have always looked at my mom as a success story to me because I have always seen her persevere through everything. I watched her make enormous life decisions get disappointing it and still land on her feet even after my dad passed she went to work she was able to get new cars keep up the house that we were living in maintain her sanity and travel with us to different places in the country in order to keep us involved with family and friends she even moved us across country because of the possibility of building a brand new life even though that ended up being somewhat of a pipe dream that was not reality she still landed on her feet again she has always been a devoted church member a consistent employee for whatever business even a human dictionary a real inspiration to be around. Able to pick up new material fast always showing that she is an asset to whatever she is doing not to mention her phenomenal ability to play piano that I for one have picked up a bit here and there. She has always looked super human to me you never realize someone is getting older until you’ve been away from them for a while. She is still as beautiful as ever though she is still able to live on her own do things on her own maintain her ability to think Moe speak and talk to me often she is simply awesome. Not bad for someone in their 70s she’s beautiful super smart and still capable of being helpful and cherished as I do as much as possible she is the greatest success story that I can think of. She’s giving strong loving considerate always compassionate always had a great work ethic just a all-around great person so she would be the one who I would say it’s not just my hero but is my favorite one to say is my success story. My mom Mary F,T, Green

Songwriting, teaching, parenting skills

List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.

If money didn’t matter, the three jobs that I would love to have with B writing music about life that incorporates circumstances about happy times sad times, meaningful moments and real life events. The second job or a career would be teaching people how to appreciate life skills and finishing what they start Jobs like that would encourage folks to actually finish school and pursue life skills. That would help them get further in education or in financial aspects of life my third would be teaching or helping teenagers the importance of sticking to their goals for when they become parents not all of a sudden, just dropping what their parents taught them, but actually paying attention to what is important about their parents life and what made them the way they are, and growing from that that way they are able to teach their children how to make it through hard times in life instead of not learning any lessons, and then rebel against them when they get older and especially learning about leaving a legacy because there are so many people in this world now, who have nothing to show for their life who have no legacy whatsoever, and whose name dies with them And I hate that that happens in today’s society. I truly believe no one should be forgotten, and every person deserves to live on through their family their children and the future and people forget how important that is when they only think about themselves and what they want at that moment or their feelings at the time.

My ideal home is full of rooms

What does your ideal home look like?

The first room has large pictures of family history going back to grandparents and great grandparents lots of memorabilia with memories of adventures and get together’s of family, vacations and time spent learning about our history and things that we learned traits that we got from our elders it has Things that were passed down from our family members that was important to them that they wanted us to have so that they can be remembered and have a stake in our future. It has music, rooms and dining room with a record player that actually still plays records it has a long dining room table for Gas to come over and eat and sit down and talk to us about growing up With our parents and cousins and friends, it has TVs and DVD players, CDs and tape cassettes with our family members voices on it from times they were telling stories and let us sit around and talk about things that were important to us even when they didn’t want to hear it, and they would save us it has our school awards and our memory verses our time capsules that we would bury, and years later, the grandkids dug up that we put inside the mantle so that they could see it and remember the fun things we used to do when playing outside, making mud pies it has our bedrooms that has changed over the years to show how our growth and development has sprung up into new adventures to wear now when the grandkids come over and great grands, they see how their stuff has been added to the room so that they know it is their place also it has been modernize with still a playground in the backyard they have a game room, TV room, work room, and a indoor garden so that they can play with it and they can tell their kids how they used to play on those very swings and they’ve been kept up so that when they got old enough they can play with them too it has books on the shelves and different little trinkets that has been there for years that has shown them how they have come from a long line of thinkers and entrepreneurs, who always grow with the times, and how they are expected to do the same, even if they go their own way, they are still expected to achieve in one way or another it has beautiful furniture clean walls and really nice carpet in certain areas and work floors and others. Everybody has a space where they know what to do when they come in the door and how to cook all the utensils are put in a neat and orderly fashion, and it’s always fun around their house because they know that at grandmom’s house they are always welcome so in my house it is always home.

When I accomplish some thing big my meeting my grandchildren for the first time

What brings a tear of joy to your eye?

When my grandchild was born, and I found out that he was healthy and safe that made me the happiest brought tears of joy to my eyes knowing that my daughter was OK and my grandbaby was here and one piece I felt good I felt happy I felt like the world was right.

Yes I have more than one

Have you ever had surgery? What for?

More than 3

The first surgery I had was minor surgery as a child. I walked past a shard of glass from a large, broken picture window. I sliced my leg along my calf leg on the left side. I had to be rushed to the hospital. I also had hand surgery from letting a fire cracker blow up in my hand. Another minor surgery where stitches were needed. This is before the time of numbing the area so I had to get several stitches and the held down in order to stay still. My next surgery, was when I had been in labor for two days. My son was being very stubborn and not wanting to get in the right position so my labor was being prolong until the core began to wrap around his neck from all of his turning so I ended up having to have a C-section on an emergency my next surgery after that was a planned surgery my daughter then a third C-section after that, I had to have a thyroidectomy because my thyroid was not functioning correctly, and had created a mass, the size of a potato in my throat (a goiter) and another mass the size of a football in my chest, which was causing me to not be able to breathe correctly and have fainting spells often so I had to have open chest surgery and throat surgery. After that one, I had a total hysterectomy because of problems with my uterus and anemia and bleeding problems. My body has been through quite a bit, but I would say it has all been worth it.

God is life

How important is spirituality in your life?

Spirituality is very important to me because God is life.

God has made my life worthwhile and worth living things haven’t always been easy but with him by my side, I’ve been able to get through a lot and not go over the deep end. I’ve had some very traumatic events in my life. I didn’t know what was coming next or what to do, but my faith and my belief kept me going. There’s so much more I could say, but I want him with this God is everything..

Presidents award

Describe one of your favorite moments.

One of my most favorite moments was watching my daughter get the presidents award. The award hat President Obama‘s signature on it. She had worked really hard in school, and had really good grades, and for that she was rewarded with the presidents award. she got mini awards like the honor roll and perfect attendance Being talked about a lot. But that was one of many proud parent moment.
