Happy Thanksgiving eve

I have started cooking my meal for Thanksgiving got the macaroni and cheese done got the cornbread done got my potatoes and eggs down for potato salad cleaned it turkey clean my greens and I am working on the corn on the cob and contemplating what to do for dessert because I have ice cream and pie that I’ve made but thinking I want to sweet potato pie I’m pretty sure it’s going to come out great I hope that you are having a great Thanksgiving as well

This year is very satisfying so far I even won tickets to go to an event where the 69 boys are recording a video and I get to be there to see it and be a part of it on Thanksgiving night very excited about that as well enjoy the rest of your night

A dream come true

I believe in manifesting what you want and putting things out there believing that they are going to happen and my manifestation has come to reality on so many occasions over the last few years it’s almost scary but expected one thing I’ve learned is to not ever second-guess what I believe and how I know things will work out because the smallest bit of doubt is like a wildfire to a dream or a manifestation it causes things to go in the wrong direction.

When I put things that I desire out I believe that whatever it is is going to happen and that I’m going to see it in this life I’ve done a few things and I’ve seen it with my own eyes to know that it is real and true and it happens for me because of that I stick with the knowledge that I know and have even if sometimes the manifestation takes longer to come about or the situation warrants more action on my part I sift through what it is that I need to do and step back after I’ve done that and watch everything come together I guess it’s the process of getting out of my own way so that my blessings can come to me.

I’ve been doing this for about 3 years now because in the past I felt powerless and unable to control the things that happened around me to me and because of me so I wanted to take my power back and that took courage and strong believe but it worked and now I’m on the right path to do the right thing and make things happen the way that I envision I see and I am capable of working to get them done. Happy Monday week of Thanksgiving I will be talking about the things I am thankful for this week I hope you have things that you’re thankful for as well till tomorrow.

Sunday Funday

Today I had a very eventful day I was invited out to eat with a friend and had a very enjoyable time at Applebee’s football was on and the waitress was very attentive and caring it’s always nice to get out and have good company I even got to see the river I love the places here in Jacksonville. It’s always fun to be out in the company and have great people around to enjoy a night out with.

I also was able to get a few things done on my computer and set up a few things to get prepared for Thanksgiving and most importantly I talk to my daughter and my handsome grandson who always light up my life. Having them around has made my life a joy.

Now it’s time to get prepared for work tomorrow and get settled in for the holidays ahead this will be a great time to go out talk to my dogs and give them special treats so that they can feel a part of the holidays to have a great rest of your Sunday.

Saturday November 20th

Today is my day to get out and handle business enjoy life and have fun in any way that I can I hope that you are doing the same life is too short to not enjoy it I think I’m going to work out and find something to cook and prepare for the week to come since Thanksgiving is next week I’m very excited about that because I love the holiday season I miss the family time and all of the shenanigans that go on with it maybe this year will be better then years past happy holidays but I also will be watching what I eat because I’m still on this weight loss journey

A rough day

I love what I do I love working with kids watching their minds grow but sometimes it can be tough they all have individualized personalities and want to be heard a lot of times all at the same time no matter how many times you might tell them raise your hand and wait your turn Johnny Joe is talking they still well yell out and let it be known what they have to say is of the utmost importance even if no one hears them because everybody is doing the exact same thing.

Today was one of those days and as I sit here thinking about it I chuckle a little bit because I know that it is just because they desire to feel important and be heard no matter how much is going on around them and that is the most important thing to them. As kids grow they are so involved in everything that sometimes we forget that they are still little and developing and learning as they move along through this thing called life and we have to take the time out to sit down and really listen for them to express whatever concerns they have that’s going on in their world.

That’s one of the reasons why I love what I do even if sometimes I leave out with my head pounding I still remember they are such a great part of my life to watch them grow and learn and explore the world around them and I am so grateful to be a part of it. Then I can try to remember the headache I was at their age and how my teacher was when she left going home after dealing with me on a day-to-day basis. Happy Thursday TBT.

A good day

I work with 5th graders today and they are kind of hard head they want what they want when they want them sometimes they are combative but I think that’s only because they are used to having leniency and getting their way. I enjoy watching them learn and try to maneuver their way around doing what they’re supposed to do instead of getting done all that they can accomplish if they would just get right to their work.

Sometimes when they’re all trying to talk at the same time to convey something that they feel is of the utmost important which mainly is to keep from doing whatever the assignment is I find myself saying multiple times to turn around sit back stop talking to your neighbor let’s focus on our work wow still trying not to chuckle under my breath because of how they’re so insistent on being heard that they will continue to evade doing the work no matter what it will cost them and free time later. I absolutely loved working with them wouldn’t trade them for the world it is the joy of my life.

I also found out my daughter is okay and I am happy about that as well even if she is just as stubborn as these young ones I work with she still comes out okay in the end. Happy Monday. I also completed my meal prep for the week so I have my shrimp with cheese sauce with some bow ties with chicken in a honey mustard sauce and macaroni with green beans and a cheese sauce came out really good happy with that meal eating healthy to help me function and stay well anyway good night.

Saturday shenanigans

I received 10 call’s this morning from 3am-6:45am from my child that I specifically told not to do something because timing was not right for it and things were not coming together for a reason and it would not be good for her to take this chance did she listen of course not.

She did it anyway and found out it was all a scam and was stuck there I’m really disappointed that she would do it but also okay with her learning this lesson the hard way. I told her God was trying to protect her from this but she was insistent on doing it her way so now look at the consequence of her choices. I’m sure she didn’t like that at all but I kept telling her she’s trying to fit a round circle into a square hole and it just doesn’t work that way.

What’s worst is she had my grandson with her on this crazy venture of uncertainty I know she’s head strong but sometimes you have to put other things first and this was one of those times I love her so much and truly appreciate her I hope she learned from this. Happy Saturday Peep’s

Happy veterans Day

My brother Ben Junior is a veteran and my niece La’Keha is a veteran as well I am very proud of the two of them they served this country well I remember when my brother joined he was right out of high school and was leaving to boot camp my family and I went down to watch him graduate it was a proud day to see him he looks so handsome and we were so happy to be there we always supported each other when we did something great no matter how small.

When he went to Iraq it was a scary time for us didn’t know if you would make it back but wasn’t afraid because we knew if we kept the faith and supported him through it he would make it back home to us and he did he even did the reserves after he got out of active duty him and my knees both where in the Navy I’m proud of the both of them and I’m glad that they served this country well I had a desire to go into the service but did not make it because other plans were made instead.

I lost weight yay

I am so proud of my progress this last month because I have been putting my best foot forward to losing weight and have lost a total of 11 pounds so far just by being consistent I’m working at it consistently I am so proud of what I have done my doctor gave me encouragement today to keep it up and keep working at it. My iron levels have went up and I have been able to feel better on top of everything else this has made me very proud of myself.

I will not stop until I have accomplished my goal of losing my total hundred pounds that I have been working toward losing this is very important to me and I am not giving up until it is accomplished. Happy Tuesday everyone my journey is not over but it is going smoothly so far. On a brighter note my daughter is coming to see me I’m very happy about that as well I will hopefully get to meet my grandson for the first time face to face this is great news for me I miss them so much.

There’s something great about family around the holiday season that is so important to me that I want to be able to love on them very much.
