My mom is the first person that comes to mind.

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

This is my mom my Beautiful success story she has the most beautiful smile

Since I was a little girl I have always looked at my mom as a success story to me because I have always seen her persevere through everything. I watched her make enormous life decisions get disappointing it and still land on her feet even after my dad passed she went to work she was able to get new cars keep up the house that we were living in maintain her sanity and travel with us to different places in the country in order to keep us involved with family and friends she even moved us across country because of the possibility of building a brand new life even though that ended up being somewhat of a pipe dream that was not reality she still landed on her feet again she has always been a devoted church member a consistent employee for whatever business even a human dictionary a real inspiration to be around. Able to pick up new material fast always showing that she is an asset to whatever she is doing not to mention her phenomenal ability to play piano that I for one have picked up a bit here and there. She has always looked super human to me you never realize someone is getting older until you’ve been away from them for a while. She is still as beautiful as ever though she is still able to live on her own do things on her own maintain her ability to think Moe speak and talk to me often she is simply awesome. Not bad for someone in their 70s she’s beautiful super smart and still capable of being helpful and cherished as I do as much as possible she is the greatest success story that I can think of. She’s giving strong loving considerate always compassionate always had a great work ethic just a all-around great person so she would be the one who I would say it’s not just my hero but is my favorite one to say is my success story. My mom Mary F,T, Green

Becoming a social activist for the well-being of small children

What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

I would start a nonprofit for the well-being of small children five and under to teach them how to learn adapt and grow in an environment that is not geared toward helping them succeed in life but is more geared toward showing them how to grow up too fast and navigate the world as adults before they are even able to speak I would create programs that would help them utilize their small developing adventurous imaginations so that they are able to still be children but also be the great minds of the future without having a bunch of responsibility and a bunch of unnecessary attitude around them they would have different approaches to education and learning as well as different approaches to growth and development with a myriad of developmental bases of learning where it’s fun but also Educational with different kinds of motivational people in their environment who also have a heart for children and I would advocate for them on every level whether it’s food games education athletics or just as simple as communication between children and parents activism is more than just marching and talking it is also real life action and that is what I would do if I knew I would not fail.

The strength in numbers

What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

The aspects of my cultural heritage that I am most proud of is how we come together when something needs to be done, and we put our strength in our numbers and accomplish the goal that we are seeking out to accomplish. How we manage to put our differences aside and really focus on, the goal at hand to make whatever is the issue at hand to go away even if we all go our separate ways after that, we will stand together on that issue to make it a top priority to get it accomplished no matter how long it takes no matter how much it may Keep us from doing something else at that moment it is the most important thing that needs to be accomplished, and we will do any and everything to accomplish it until it is done for example, in Alabama when the man was being attacked everyone stopped what they were doing at that moment to go and Protect him. It didn’t matter what was happening around him or them. They stopped another example when they made Rosa parks get off the bus and was disrespectful to her. We stopped riding the bus and it took over a year, but we persisted to make it happen, so that they would give us equal rights to ride the bus freely and fairly another example is when we want it to be able to vote we stopped, allowing them to treat us any other kind of way, and we’ve been together to accomplish, making it a nationwide goal to not work with anything they have going on to make it happen every time when it’s something that we all want we will stand together to make it happen that is something that I love about my culture. We still are that way just in a different way now, and I appreciate that inner strength that we have to do that in order to accomplish the goal of having us matter things like that or what keeps us moving forward And all of us working together we still have a long way to go, but I do appreciate that about my culture, even though it takes an immense strength and something major to happen for us to do that the fact that we will do it I love it about us And I appreciate my culture for it

Soft and vulnerable

How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you?

Hello, I am LeSheena my name given me at birth by my father. My mother name is Corelle. I love that name. Both of them are elegant to me. My hair is a soft right now golden brown because I colored it but naturally, it’s a darker brown it comes down to the middle of my neck, even though I want it to come to the middle on my back or lower it always feels soft even though it looks like it’s course. My skin tone is like a milk chocolate that makes me proud. I was the outside child as a girl so that’s how I got certain little dark spots on my skin, but I just called those growing pains from jumping over fences, getting little blotches and doing crazy stuff as a kid I have one tattoo from a previous life that signifies the people I love and love to earrings holes in each ear I always wanted my ears pierced. My grandmother got my first hole in my ear, and then I got the second one in my ear and my earring last and final one in my nose. My eyes are a dark brown. I wish they were at Hazel or green. It’s just something about that color green is always been my favorite but they are dark brown. Luckily, my prayers were answered and my daughter came out with the color that I want it in her eyes, I am 58 approximately 243 pounds constantly dropping the weight working at it eating healthy trying to get it down as fast as possible after having so many surgeries it’s been a task but it’s not one that I’m willing to give up on One minute I go to the doctor and they say I’m 58 the next they say I’m five 7 1/2 bye I still stick with 58 my shoe size is supposed to be an 11 but sometimes I look up and can’t wear at 10 or 10 1/2 that I would like should have it at least my clothes stay consistent love to wear jeans and things like that but when push comes to shove, I always like loose fitting clothes that make me feel comfortable and let sell that is a little bit about me. What about you?

Rising cost

Today I went into the store Walmart shout out to Walmart to pick up a few things and I was doing a price check on some eggs because generally when the price isn’t there it must be an astronomical price that they don’t want you to look at just pay when you get to the counter. I asked a Walmart employee what the price was for the eggs and I figured the price that was there was incorrect because I had never seen eggs cost almost $16. The employee came over to me and he told me that the price was correct so I asked him what was the price of the pack that was right below that 60 pack of eggs and he went on to tell me that I should blame the Biden administration for the price of the eggs I sat there and I thought why would I blame Biden for eggs why not blame you. Because your salary is $15.09 an hour so prices would have to go up in order to pay your salary why would I blame the government when it would be a wiser deduction to stay at home and blame what’s right here if I’m going to lay blame. But I let him go on and talk without uttering a word. He said there are all these people in office but none of them know how to run a country as if he was someone who knew about how to run a whole government or knew anything above a checkers profession it baffled me and it also made me think people are so quick to put blame on others instead of taking responsibility for their own actions I for one am guilty of that myself I am learning every day how to take accountability for what I do and not put the blame on others that is the right way to be. I don’t blame the president for the Senate or the House of Representatives they get the blame for their own actions. What President Biden and Vice President Harris does they take responsibility for no one else and I would not add to their plate by being arrogant or unjustly blaming them for stuff that is not their fault they might not be strong but they are also not weak and I support them. Enjoy the rest of your day happy Thursday!!!

A hard day but good one

Today when I got to where I was going for work I ended up changing classrooms today and even though I ended up working with the same students that I worked with a couple days ago I still had to raise my voice a few times because it’s like a natural instinct for kids to be more rambunctious with a substitute teacher I’ve noticed that pattern because kids seem to think that because you’re subbing for them they can do whatever they want because you’re there for a limited time but one thing I think these students learned for the last few days is that if you want someone to give you time and attention you need to give them that respect of quietness when they are dealing with you so today and then on a good note and I feel more confident about it anyway happy throwback Thursday I’m still on my way lost journey and I believe I’m doing pretty good at it right now so I will continue to work towards my goal of dropping this hundred pounds over the next 9 months

Passion is a great thing

When there is a lot of passion in your relationship you can get past some really hard spots. The most important parts of a relationship is communication, passion, trust, dependability, and mutual respect. These things show us how to love each other because love is an action word.

We can’t say we love someone and don’t do any of these things to verify the action of what we are saying. Passion is important in any relationship and needs to stay active and present. Happy TBT

I love my friends and family

I have had many people in my life from the time I was born many of which I call to this day my family and close friends. Many of us are taught through words and life experience that sometimes friends can sometimes considered closer than a family member or the one person who can understand exactly what the person is going through.anyway.
